It's safe to say the offense is a work in progress at the moment as new offensive coordinator Tommy Rees is still adjusting to the Crimson Tide way. The quarterback's all showed signs of competence on Saturday afternoon, but they will all have to improve to be effective this coming fall.

Will Anderson had two sacks in the A-Day scrimmage game, helping the White team to a 25-7 victory over the Crimson Team.

Simpson, the No. 2 recruit in the state of Tennessee, shared highlights through the first five games of his senior season. The quarterback has led the Westview Chargers to ta 4-1 overall record with a 2-0 region record in Class 2A Region 7. The Chargers are currently ranked the No. 4 team in Class 2A.

Simpson follows the footsteps of Tua Tagovailoa and Bryce Young as top-tier quarterbacks to commit to Alabama.
