Excitement was in the air in Foster Auditorium as the Alabama men's and women's basketball program celebrated Tide Tipoff 2021. Shooting contests, skills competitions and James Spann stimulated the Crimson Tide faithful who are excited for the new season to get started.

Most people schedule a vacation to get away but when you're Alabama head basketball coach Nate Oats you only have to go as far as your backyard to escape. Oats was caught on camera enjoying his summer, showing off his wake boarding skills on Lake Tuscaloosa.
The No. 2 seed Alabama Crimson Tide ran away from the No. 10 Maryland Terrapins to march into the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2004. The Crimson Tide made 16 3-point shots to take down the Terrapins 96-77.
