Alabama junior pitcher Connor Prielipp began drawing attention as a draft prospect after his successful first season with the Tide in 2020.

Former University of Alabama second baseman Peyton Wilson has agreed to a full slot value deal with the Kansas City Royals. Wilson was drafted with the No. 66 overall pick in the 2021 MLB First Year Player Draft last week. His agreement with the Royals pays him $1,003,300 according to Jim Callis of MLB Pipeline.
