Central picked up a regional win on Friday night.

County High will hit the road next week to take on Bessemer City while Central returns home and will take on Woodlawn.

As the end of the high school football season in Alabama approaches, schools are starting to get a better picture of what the playoffs will look like. With only two weeks of the regular season left, it’s anyone’s game in west Alabama.

The Selma Saints (5-2,4-0 ) started as strong as they finished dismantling the Central Falcons (2-5,1-4) .

The Central Falcons (2-2, 1-1) defeated the Marbury Bulldogs (3-2, 1-2) by a score of 27-12 to even their Class 5A Region 3 record this Friday evening.
