Billy Napier

The Florida Gators like the potential they have seen from Billy Napier in year three, announcing they'll keep the head coach into the 2025 season.

Armstrong joins Napier after having spent two seasons working for him at Louisiana. The Alabama native worked as a defensive graduate for the Rajun' Cajuns in 2018 and was the inside linebackers coach in 2020.

Outside of Alabama's debut at the No. 2 position, the other three programs appearing in the top four of the initial poll all are led by coaches that worked with one another on the 2015 Alabama football team.
