The SEC postponed the Auburn Tigers' game with Mississippi State due to COVID-19 issues. Mississippi State fell under the scholarship athlete threshold and therefore the game was moved. One day after the conference moved this weekend's game, Auburn has shut down its football activities due to nine players and three staff members testing positive for COVID-19.

The Southeastern Conference has named its weekly award for the fifth week of the SEC season. Alabama junior quarterback Mac Jones was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week and the third time this season. Jones shares the award with Auburn receiver and Paul W. Bryant High School alum, Seth Williams.

For the first time in many of our lives, teams like Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia will only be playing SEC teams. That’s why I am ranking the top five games of the upcoming SEC conference-only schedule that I can’t wait to watch.
