The Initial USA Men's Basketball Coaches Poll was released today and the Alabama Crimson Tide was ranked No. 25 in the nation. Alabama was one of three SEC schools to make the poll with Kentucky being ranked ninth and Tennessee being ranked 14th.

Crimson Tide to Stay Active This Weekend
The Crimson Tide will not take any time off during, what amounts to, a second bye week. Alabama will practice Monday through Thursday as a typical game week and take Friday off. Instead of playing a game this weekend the Crimson Tide will conduct aa Saturday practice to stay in shape.
