Are you ready to become the next American Idol? ABC recently announced that it would be reviving the television show “American Idol”. Now it appears that auditions will be held at The Alabama Music Hall Of Fame Museum in the fall.

The show will hold auditions at the museum in Tuscumbia on Sept. 7th, according to Alabama Tourism Agency Officials.The museum is located in the Shoals region of Northwest Alabama

American Idol’s impact on Alabama cannot be understated. The show has produced winners Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks, plus runners-up Bo Bice and Diana DeGarmo. Other Alabamians who have have done well on the show include: Dexter Roberts, Jessica Meuse, C.J. Harris, and Casey Thrasher.

Alabama Tourism officials believe that as many as 2,000 musicians, or more, could show up for the Tuscumbia Auditions. Katy Perry has already been confirmed as one of the judges, with more big names to be announced soon.
