Former Hillcrest High School Player Signs MLB Contract Worth $25 Million
Former Hillcrest High School player/student, Tim Anderson, just signed a deal with the Chicago White Sox. It's a 6-year, $25 Million dollar deal.
The contract comes less than a year after Anderson made his major league debut, and it could be worth as much as $50.5 million if the team exercises two options in 2023 and 2024.
What does Anderson have to say to this wonderful deal? "It's life changing." I'd have to say so as well. Hope to see you many years from now playing shortstop with gusto and passion like you do today.
Congratulations, Tim, here's to a hometown boy making it big...REAL big.
