Jamey Johnson is a Miserable SOB!

That’s right. I SAID IT. 

And RUDE.

And COMPLETELY DISRESPECTFUL TO HIS AUDIENCE.

Let me explain:

Last week, in Lincoln, Nebraska, Jamey Johnson was onstage ready to perform. Before he took the stage, the local morning show from Country station KIX 96.9 welcomed the crowd and did the usual announcements a radio show does at these kinds of events.

Once the morning team left the stage, Johnson, a Montgomery native, hurled insults directed at the team and the station. 

Johnson proudly proclaimed : “I thought we had a good deal worked out: Y’all don’t play my music, and I don’t play yours, so stay the f*** off my stage. Kix whatever the f*** your name is. Who gives a s***?”

HOW SWEET?

Listen, I DON’T GIVE A RAT’S A#% IF JAMEY JOHNSON IS FROM ALABAMA - 

I say HE IS OUT OF LINE AND A CRUSTY OLD BUZZARD!

According to Wikipedia, Johnson has score a grand total of ONE HIT SONG, “In Color“ in 2008.

And he’s mad that nobody plays his music??

Furthermore, HE HASN’T RELEASED AN ALBUM SINCE 2012 AND HIS LASTS SINGLE WAS RELEASED IN 2015.

What a D&@&!!!!

We at 95.3 The Bear ALWAYS STRIVE TO PLAY AS MANY GREAT ARTISTS AS WE CAN. We understand that stations can be repetitive and we try to expose y’all to as many new artists and songs as we can.

All we ask is that you AT LEAST RELEASE AN ALBUM MORE THAN ONCE A DECADE.

BTW, Jamey co-wrote the hits "Honkeytonk Badonkadonk," which was a MASSIVE HIT BY TRACE ATKINS,

AND 

"Give it Away" by some guy name George….

Both of which garnered HUGE AIRPLAY.

I guess it’s just not enough for poor old Jamey Johnson.

If Jamey Johnson EVER DECIDES TO WRITE ANOTHER SONG AND RELEASE IT TO RADIO, I will be sure to contact TOWNSQUARE MEDIA and at least ask them to reconsider playing his music.
