Aspiring students can apply to the University of Alabama without paying any fees for a week in October, the school announced Tuesday.

Free App Week is observed at many colleges and universities across the state and nation, and UA announced it will bring back the tradition in 2025, waiving application fees from October 6 - 10th.

Students looking to enroll in domestic and international undergraduate and graduate programs, UA Online or UA Early College can all do so at not cost during that week.

"The University aims to empower prospective students during Free App Week by removing the financial barriers that may keep them from applying for admission," they said in the 2025 announcement.

The school has launched a Free App Week website where prospective applicants can learn more and submit their paperwork here.

Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on October 10 to take advantage of the savings this year.
