Huge Bundle Of Cocaine Recently Found Washed Ashore In Alabama
Imagine walking down the shoreline of beautiful Orange Beach, enjoying the breeze. The golden sand between your toes and letting the sound of the waves soothe your mind on a summer day.
Birds are chirping, families are out enjoying their beach day, and kids are flying kites nearby.
While in this paradise of a moment, something all of a sudden interrupts your bliss.
Is it a large animal washed ashore?
What about a lost suitcase? Maybe it contains hidden treasure or even money!
It's neither of those things. It's one of the most unexpected items ever.
Or maybe not!
It seems like there's a trend when it comes to finding things near Alabama waters. When I say things, I means drugs.
Specifically cocaine.
Back in 2021, more than $1million worth of cocaine was found in bundles that washed up on an Alabama shore, according to WVTM.
It seems like the kilos of cocaine didn't stop there. This Youtube video by WKRG told the story of another kilo of cocaine showing up on an Alabama shore which seems to be close to the time the $1million worth of cocaine were found.
Now, in the year 2023... It's happened again!
Shocked
According to WPMI, beachgoes stumbled upon a large bundled package of cocaine that was washed ashore.
The article by WPMI says that the package was discovered on May 20 on Dauphin Island. The package has since been turned over to Homeland Security Investigations.
Let's just be thankful none of the packaging was open and had been found by kids.
I wonder where all of this cocaine is coming from......
