“This will help better position DCH for rewarding, retaining and attracting top talent, and those are key components to better care,” said Katrina Keefer, president and CEO of the DCH Health System.

“We understand the importance of earning the trust of the communities we serve, and feel that we will be best positioned to do so with this investment in our greatest assets, our team of caregivers.”

Recently DCH enlisted an expert in the healthcare workforce to review all of their positions to determine if salary rates and ranges were competitive.

According to the press release, those findings promoted DCH to implement a 5% or more pay increase depending on the position, and how it compared to similar roles in other health systems in the region.

“This is an ongoing $25 million investment in our caregivers and the DCH organization,” said Keefer.

“I’m hopeful that our caregivers and the community see that we are serious when we say that DCH is seeking to be the employer of choice for not only the best and brightest, but those most committed to excellence in patient care.”
