How You Can Lend a Helping Paw to the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter
The Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter (TMAS) is asking residents to help with donations of dry dog food. According to a TMAS Facebook post, “the shelter is running very low on dry dog food.” Your dry dog food donation will assist dogs in the foster program.
The mission of the TMAS is to provide “resources, programs, and information needed to build a more humane community that values animals and promotes compassion and kindness towards them, embraces responsible pet ownership, and promotes animal/human bond.”
You can donate online at metroanimalshelter.org/donate or drop the dry dog food at the shelter at 3140 Inv Dornell Cousette Street.
