Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the following counties until 6:45 a.m.

Northern Fayette

East Central Lamar - Canceled by NWS at 6:10 a.m.

HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail.

IMPACT: Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

SOUTHEASTERN HALE

HAZARD: Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea-sized hail.

IMPACT: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include: Selma, Valley Grande, Marion, Uniontown, Selmont-West Selmont, Maplesville, Newbern, Faunsdale, Vaiden, Parnell, Heiberger, Paul M Grist State Park, Memorial Stadium, Burnsville, Marion Junction, Potter Station, Radford, Stanton, Folsom, and Valley Creek Junction.

There is a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the following counties until 5:15 a.m.

Southeastern Greene County (Canceled at 4:47 a.m. by the NWS)

Hale County (Canceled at 4:52 a.m. by the NWS)

At 423 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Forkland, or 11 miles south of Eutaw, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail.

IMPACT: Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include: Eutaw, Greensboro, Forkland, Newbern, Greensboro Municipal Airport, Walden Quarters, Duffys Bend, Sawyerville, Arcola, Wedgeworth, Evansville, Selden Lock And Dam, Gallion, Eutaw Municipal Airport, Birdine, Harper Hill, Wateroak, Cedarville, and Laneville.
