Alabama's Mark Sears earned big honors from the Southeastern Conference on Monday, being named SEC Player of the Week by the conference for his performance in two road wins at South Carolina and Texas A&M this week.

Sears scored 20+ points in both victories for the Crimson Tide.

In Alabama's 88-68 victory over South Carolina, Sears scored 22 points on 7-12 shooting from the field and 4-6 from three-point range, while adding six assists and three rebounds in his performance.

In Alabama's 94-88 win over Texas A&M on the road, Sears tied his season high in points with 27 on 7-18 shooting and 4-10 from three-point range, while adding four assists and two rebounds to his game.

In total during the two-game road stretch, Sears scored 49 points, 10 assists, and five rebounds.

Alabama advanced to 14-2 on the season with a 3-0 start to SEC play thanks in large part to Sears's contributions.

Alabama's next game will come on Tuesday, January 14, at 6:00 p.m. CT. Alabama will host No. 21 Ole Miss inside Coleman Coliseum.
