Alabama Center Parker Brailsford Earns Weekly SEC Honors
Alabama center Parker Brailsford is touted as one of the best centers in the country, and he proved it again on Saturday in Alabama's 20-9 victory over the LSU Tigers. Brailsford was rewarded for his efforts by being named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week by the Southeastern Conference.

Brailsford, a 6-foot-2, 290-pound redshirt junior from Mesa, Arizona, earned his second weekly honor from the SEC this season. He earned SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week after Alabama's 30-14 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores. Against LSU, Brailsford secured key blocks along the offensive line, which only allowed one sack against the Tigers, and he did not allow a sack or quarterback pressure throughout the game. He totaled six knockdown blocks in the Tide's victory.
Alabama's next opponent will be the Oklahoma Sooners. The Crimson Tide and the Sooners will kick off inside Bryant-Denny Stadium at 2:30 CT, and the game will be broadcast on ABC. Our coverage will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the Tide pregame show on Tide 100.9, 1230 AM WTBC, and 95.3 The Bear.
