Alabama held its third out of 15 spring practices on Thursday morning at the Hank Crisp Indoor facility. We got the chance to see the Tide's quarterbacks working with receivers and running backs during the open practice period. Following the practice, offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams, and offensive tackle Michael Carrol were allowed to speak to the media.

During Coleman-Williams' press conference, he asked how it felt to step into the role of leadership and be the guy the younger ones look up to. Coleman-Williams responded with "1,000 percent, I had the privilege of learning behind those guys while they were here, and just watching them grow as players is amazing to see, and I'm just glad I'm able to be part of that room." He also stated, " Setting an example is the obvious, how you carry yourself on and off the field, but whenever we're on the field, you don't have to be the most vocal. It's just about making the biggest impact and being there for your guys."

Coleman-Williams was also asked what he needs to see in a quarterback to be able to trust him. Coleman-Williams answered, " Really, just confidence, confidence is everything, you know? If he doesn't believe in himself, then we can't believe in him. Somebody that we can all depend on."

Alabama will practice tomorrow, but will be off all of next week due to spring break. Practice will run to April 11th, when Alabama will have its annual A-Day scrimmage at 1:00 p.m. CT.
