ATLANTA, Ga. - On Wednesday night, the SEC Availability Report was published, showing who won't play in Alabama's matchup with Georgia for Saturday's SEC Championship. The Crimson Tide will be without starting defensive lineman LT Overton on Saturday, as Overton was a surprise addition to the availability report for Saturday.

During his Thursday press conference in Atlanta, Georgia, for the conference championship, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer added another defensive lineman to the list, with Florida-transfer lineman Kelby Collins ruled out for the SEC title game.

"Two notes also from an injury point. We do have two players that have illnesses, medical issue, whatever you want to call it, LT Overton and Kelby Collins. They won't be available for this game," DeBoer said.

Overton, a 6-foot-5, 278-pound senior from Milton, Georgia, had totaled 33 tackles, four sacks, and one pass breakup this season with the Crimson Tide, starting every game at Bandit. Collins, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound junior from Gardendale, Alabama, had totaled nine tackles and one sack for the Crimson Tide this season, rotating in along the defensive line.

"Fortunately, throughout the year we've rotated a lot across the board on our team," DeBoer said on the Tide's plan with Overton and Collins out. "Defensively in particular. So the guys that have rotated with LT, fortunately, Qua Russaw, when you talk about the edge position, he's played the last couple games. We'll get more reps for him. He's ready for it.

"Yhonzae will continue to ramp up his load. We have guys that have played a lot of snaps that will continue to just play the role that they've been playing. Maybe a few more snaps that they'll get."

The injury updates didn't stop there, with DeBoer also being asked about left guard Kam Dewberry, tight end Josh Cuevas, and running back Jam Miller for Saturday's date with the Bulldogs.

"Jam, still questionable. We'll see here in the next couple days. Kam Dewberry is coming along here as the week progresses. Josh Cuevas, same as Jam. Kind of see here at the end of the week.

"All those guys, a couple weeks down the road, will be definitely good to go. Kind of here, one week out from last week's game, some of the injuries that have happened, we're not quite sure yet. They're coming along, working, doing everything they can."

Cuevas, a 6-foot-3 senior tight end from Los Angeles, California, has caught 30 receptions for 341 yards and four touchdowns this season for Alabama. Jam Miller, a 5-foot-10, 221-pound senior running back from Tyler, Texas, has rushed for 493 yards and three touchdowns this season while battling injury.
