Kane Brown will be honored for his support of younger generations of musicians at the 2024 People's Choice Country Awards.

The "Miles on It" singer is set to receive the Country Champion Award during the telecast this month.

The Country Champion Award honors one artist's "passion for service and groundbreaking contributions to the country music industry and beyond." A show executive shared that Brown was chosen specifically for his dedication to and support of younger musicians.

Sonically, Brown has gone back and forth between progressive, pop-friendly country music and traditional. "Miles on It" — a collaboration with Marshmello — is a very contemporary beat around a familiar summer love song. Fans and programmers have shown little hesitancy to play the song. It's already been certified Platinum and inside the Top 20.

He'll wrap up the U.S. dates of his headlining tour this month before heading to Australia in November. Both "Miles on It" and his previous radio single "I Can Feel It" are from an unreleased album.
