Blake Shelton’s Next Holiday Hallmark Movie Is on Its Way — See the Trailer [Watch]
Blake Shelton is once again getting into the holiday spirit with the help of Hallmark.
On Wednesday (Nov. 22), the singer announced plans for the premiere of Time for Her to Come Home for Christmas, the latest holiday-themed Hallmark movie that he has executive produced. According to IMDB, the film centers around Carly, a young musician who heads to a small town to work with a church choir for the holiday season. But when she meets a young Army veteran with a talent for singing, the holidays take on a whole new meaning.
The cast features some familiar faces: Chris Carmack, one of the stars of Nashville, plays the role of Matthew in Time for Her to Come Home for Christmas. Additionally, Grace Leer — who's a country singer-songwriter and a contestant on Season 18 of American Idol — appears onscreen in the film.
Shelton shared a teaser trailer for Time for Her to Come Home for Christmas on his social media, giving fans a peek at the latest Christmas film he's executive produced.
Time for Her to Come Home for Christmas is the latest in a string of themed holiday films from Shelton. The collection dates back to 2018, beginning with Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas, and he's since put out Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas, Time for You to Come Home for Christmas and Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas.
All the films are based on Shelton's song "Time for Me to Come Home," a song off his 2012 Cheers, It's Christmas album that features a cameo vocal from the singer's mom, Dorothy Shackleford.
