Governor Kay Ivey Orders Flags to be Flown at Half-Staff for Fallen Police Officer
Governor Kay Ivey issued an order Monday afternoon that all flags at state agencies across Alabama be flown at half-staff in honor of Sean Tuder, a Mobile Police officer who was shot and killed in the line of duty Sunday.
Tuder was allegedly killed by 19-year-old Marco Perez, who is expected to be charged with capital murder for the slaying.
According to Ivey's executive order, flags should be flown at half-staff until sunset on Sunday.
