Glen Campbell is saying one last goodbye with his final album, appropriately titled Adios, out June 9. The three-minute title track features Campbell's familiar warm vocals alongside light guitar and piano accompaniment.

"Adiós" has the singer nostalgically reminiscing of the time he ran away from home as a teenager to California. "I'll miss the blood red sunset, but I'll miss you the most," he sings.

The album is a collection of many of Campbell's favorite songs and includes tracks from Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan and Roger Nelson, as well as frequent collaborator Jimmy Webb. Vince Gill is also featured on a song called “Am I All Alone (Or Is It Only Me).”

Glen Campbell's Career in Pictures

Campbell's wife, Kim, explains that the album is a way for the singer to connect with his fans one last time through music. After her husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2011, his ability to play music and remember songs began to decline rapidly, she says.

"A feeling of urgency grew to get him into the studio one last time to capture what magic was left. It was now or never,” she tells People. “What you’re hearing when listening to Adiós is the beautiful and loving culmination of friends and family doing their very best for the man who inspired, raised, and entertained them for decades – giving him the chance to say one last goodbye to his fans, and put one last amazing collection of songs onto the record store shelves."
