The Florida Governor's office has officially declared the WWE an essential business. The WWE now has the clearance to resume production and live shows in Orlando.

According to CNN, the order was signed Thursday and adds World Wrestling Entertainment to the list of essential businesses with grocery stores, banks, utility companies and more. Maybe sports fans everywhere will be happy to see some live action on their television screens. The WWE usually airs three live shows per week but due to the coronavirus, have all been taped. Even Wrestlemania, their largest event of the year, was taped this year. This new order allows them to run live programming but with no live audience. Only essential personnel will be allowed on the closed set.

Personally, I haven't watched wrestling in years but given the current sports drought, I might have to make an exception. According to CNN, the WWE is said to be "critical to Florida's economy." What do you think about the WWE being deemed an essential service? Do you agree? Will you be watching since there are limited live events to watch?

Much like Alabama, Florida is currently under a stay-at-home order and can only be out visiting essential businesses until April 30th.
