With most of the votes counted around the state of Alabama, all major media outlets have declared Doug Jones the winner of the Senate special election.

The Democrat pulled the upset over the favored Republican candidate Roy Moore.

The race came down to the final counties with more than 1.2 million votes coming in. With 96% of the precincts reporting, Jones' margin was fewer than 13,000 votes. The margin was also less than a single percentage point, 49.6-48.8%.

Jones and Moore are both set to speak at their campaign rallies tonight and we'll update this story after they do.
