An Oklahoma man has admitted to robbing Reba McEntire's family ranch in June and has been charged with numerous counts related to the crime.

Clint Mansell of Lehigh, Okla., has been charged with burglary, possession of stolen property and grand larceny after stealing an ATV, two air conditioning units and several tools from the McEntire family's ranch in northern Atoka County; according to KXII, the items stolen totaled around $28,000 in value, and some of them have been recovered. Mansell has admitted to the crimes, and is also facing theft-related charges in Johnston County.

McEntire's late father, Clark McEntire, purchased the family's ranch back in the 1950s, transforming it through the years from a 40-acre plot of land into an 8,000-acre farm. The country icon was raised on the ranch, and she shot her recent "Just Like Them Horses" music video there; McEntire sang the song at her father's funeral in 2014, and included the tune on her most recent album, Love Somebody.

McEntire has a number of Las Vegas residency dates with good friends Brooks & Dunn scheduled into the spring of 2017; the trio's residency began in the summer of 2015 and has been expanded numerous times since. McEntire also recently became her own manager, following her split from now-ex-husband (and former manager) Narvel Blackstock.

“I was pretty much forced to do it,” she admits candidly. “It wasn’t my choice to take over my career as manager. I didn’t see it coming, but you know, that’s life.”
