Ol' Colony To Re-Open
The home of the Alabama Golf team will re-open to the public on a limited bases starting on Wednesday. The course will be open to patrons, weather permitting, from Wednesday-Sunday for the foreseeable future. The golf course closed on March 28 due to concerns over the COVID-19 coronavirus.
Summer Snow to Close
The popular Tuscaloosa business, Summer Snow, will close for the time being because of COVID-19. The shaved ice stand had just opened up this week for the season but decided to suspend operation for the safety of its employees and patrons.
Mercedes Extends Shut-Down
The Mercedes plant in Vance, Alabama was scheduled to get back to work this coming week, those plans are now altered. Mercedes Benz US International extended their shut-down for another week, putting the Alabama employees out of work for an additional week.
