There's no telling how active the Crimson Tide will be in the transfer portal, but history tells us Alabama won't be shy. Oats has attacked the portal each offseason bringing in contributors like Jahvon Quinerly, James Bolden, Jordan Bruner, Noah Gurley, Nimari Burnett, Mark Sears and Dom Welch by way of the portal.

Oats is now set for his biggest offseason in Tuscaloosa. He must replace two of his veteran assistant coaches in Bryan Hodgson and Charlie Henry, and he must reload a roster that will be losing, at the minimum, All American Brandon Miller.
