Southern hospitality is real, especially in T-Town. We take care of our own down here, as evidenced in the city's tremendous response following the EF-4 tornado that devastated Tuscaloosa in 2011. The people of Tuscaloosa are caring and kind--they're the best part of the City of Champions.
3. You'll never be able to figure out what to have for dinner.
Tuscaloosa has SO many great restaurants. There is something for every appetite. We've got food trucks, diners, and pubs--and we've got plenty of gourmet spots, too. The struggle of picking WHERE to eat in T-Town is real.
4. You'll start slipping "Roll Tide" in to everyday conversations.

5. Your kids will get smarter.
Tuscaloosa City Schools offer an exceptional learning environment for students, especially at the Magnet Schools and Alberta School for the Performing Arts. We're also home to the University of Alabama, Stillman College, and Shelton State Community College.
6. You will become a die-hard Alabama fan.
Love for the Crimson Tide is contagious, and after one football season in T-Town, you'll be converted.
7. You will develop an immunity to heat and humidity.
LOL. Just kidding, That never happens, but you do kind of get used to it. You'll soon be able to mock your Yankee friends for thinking 85 degrees is "hot."

It's impossible to move to Tuscaloosa and not fall in love with our beautiful parks. There are places to play, walk, run, and swim. We've got the River Walk, splash pads, pools, playgrounds, and so much more!
