Alabama fans have heard a lot this year and in recent seasons that they don't appreciate everything that's happening int Tuscaloosa right now, but Saturday's celebration tells a different story.

The University of Alabama estimated that nearly 40,000 people showed up for the team's national championship parade and celebration on the steps of Bryant-Denny Stadium. As you can see in the picture above and other photos from the event, people were piled in everywhere around the Walk of Champions.

But if you really want to know how grateful Alabama fans are for head coach Nick Saban and this football team, just listen to the video below when he steps to the podium.

The cheers and Roll Tides rang out throughout the hour event as fans stood among the statues of Alabama's best coaches, but none of the applause matched how it sounded when the six-time national championship winning coach stood in front of the crowd.
