Alabama defensive back Marlon Humphrey showed off his track speed at the NFL Scouting Combine on Monday when he posted one of the fastest 40-yard dash times of the week.

The underclassmen took the field in Indianapolis with his position group to take part in drills for the NFL scouts and coaches. In his first of two runs, Humphrey covered the distance in just 4.41 seconds. That placed him second among the first group of defensive backs to run in the morning and it was good enough for the seventh-fastest time at this year's Combine.

Humphrey left college after his redshirt sophomore season. In just two years in Tuscaloosa, the son of Alabama star Bobby Humphrey recorded five interceptions, 81 total tackles, and 13 passes broken up.

Most mock drafts project Humphrey as a first-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft with one listing him as high as 13th overall.
