Tuscaloosa Police are currently searching for two suspects in a shooting that took place Monday Evening. The incident occurred at around 11 p.m. at the Hay Court public housing complex in West End.

According to investigators, the victim, 30, was talking to another man at the apartments. Then, another man approached and began firing shots into his car. The victim was struck twice by the gunfire, but was treated at DCH and later released.

From the interviews that have been conducted, police believe that the shooting may have been drug related. Police came to that conclusion when authorities revealed that a large quantity of narcotics were recovered at the crime scene.

From the evidence gathered, two suspects are currently being sought in connection with the shooting. As of press time, police have not released their names. Police ask that if you have any information about their whereabouts, to please contact them.
