Law Enforcement Authorities are searching for people who were involved in last month's downtown parking deck shootout, and they're asking for your assistance.

The shootout took place back on Sunday July 23rd, and it occurred on the top floor of the parking deck behind Riverfront Village condominiums on Jack Warner Parkway.

Investigators say that two women had planned to meet on the top floor of the parking deck in order to fight. According to Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit Assistant Commander Captain. Kip Hart.Hart, video surveillance showed at least 20 vehicles pull to the top floor around 11:20 p.m. that evening. While the two women were throwing fisticuffs, several other fights broke out before gunshots ensued.

Fortunately, no one was injured. However, two people reported that their vehicles had been damaged by the gunfire.

Investigators are asking anyone with any information to contact law enforcement officials or CrimeStoppers at 205-752-STOP (7867).
