Tuscaloosa Brewery Art Takes Surrealistic Look at Les Miles’ Departure
Druid City Brewing Company and local artist Rich Marcks are at it again mixing classic art with a college football subject manner, this time taking a jab at LSU.
Known for past masterpieces like Michelangelo’s ‘The Creation of Adam’ re-envisioned with “Bear” Bryant and Nick Saban as well as Lane Kiffin taking the place of Venus in a rendering of Sandro Botticelli’s ‘The Birth of Venus,’ the latest creation plays on 'The Persistence of Memory' by Salvador Dali and not only focuses on Miles' departure but his well known inability to manage the game clock.
In a Tweet, Druid City Brewing said,
We're going to miss you and your surrealistic style of coaching,
@LSUCoachMiles - we offer a tribute "The Persistence of Clock Management".
Druid City Brewing Company is located just off of 15th Street, next to Flowers Bakery, behind CitiTrends and in front of Oz Music. The taproom is open each weekday at 4 pm and 12 pm Saturday and Sunday.
