The Legendary TOM JONES is postponing a U.S. concert tour due to health issues, the 77-year-old Music Icon told fans this past weekend via Twitter.

Jones, was scheduled to start a United States tour this Wednesday, (Sept. 6) in Pennsylvania. However, doctors advised him to postpone until next year, and will most likely reschedule those shows in May and June of 2018. Jones would not disclose his medical situation any further. Tickets for the 2017 shows will be honored for the new dates or can be turned in for refunds.

Jones, (whose epic career has spanned over 6 decades, starting with his first hit,1964’s “It’s Not Unusual,”) was a pop sensation throughout the ’60s. Known for his signature tight pants, unbuttoned shirts, and wild hip thrusts and gyrations, (which made Women through their panties onstage while he performed in concert, became an instant star and international sex symbol. He even hosted his own weekly TV Show, "This Is Tom Jones" in the early 70's. He also had a resurgence in 1989 when won an MTV Video Music Award when he teamed with the Art of Noise on a cover version of Prince’s “Kiss.” (Which is also a Louie Linguini Karaoke Staple):-)

Tom also recorded a KILLER version of THIS Three Dog Night Classic in the 2000's....

And who can forget his autobiographical tune "Sexbomb"....

And why not, my favorite Tom Jones song EVER, "She's A Lady"...

In any event, I wish TJ a speedy recovery. He is a Musical Icon who needs to hand around for a LOT longer. So please, GET WELL SOON TOM JONES!!!
