One Person Killed in a Single Vehicle Crash Near Northport

A single vehicle crash on Highway 171 in Tuscaloosa County claimed the life of one person earlier today.

The driver was killed and the passenger was taken to DCH Medical Center when the SUV they were in veered off the road and struck a tree.

At this time, the identity of both driver and passenger has not been released.
