Our local Chick-fil-A restaurants recently went head-to-head in a battle for the Tuscaloosa Backpack Coalition, and the crew at Chick-fil-A Northport came out on top!

In this year's "Apples for Education" School Supply Drive, each restaurant sold paper apples to its customers. Each apple sold raised a dollar for the Tuscaloosa Backpack Coalition, whose mission is to ensure each child in Tuscaloosa City and County Schools has the supplies he or she needs to start a new school year.

Northport Chick-fil-A sold a total of 1,353 apples, and Chick-fil-A Tuscaloosa South sold 1,317 apples. That's a total of $2,670 raised for the Backpack Coalition. Congratulations to Northport Chick-fil-A, and thank you to everyone who supported this year's drive!
