Authorities are actively searching Pickens County tonight for a wanted man. The man, Jerry Michael Rogers, 33, is now facing charges in Pickens County for resisting arrest and attempting to elude law enforcement.

He’s also wanted in Fayette and Lamar Counties, along with Lowndes County in Mississippi. The Alabama Department of Corrections also wants him in connection with a probation violation. Authorities also say that Rodgers been arrested more than 45 times.

Rodgers is said to be 6′ 2″ and 200 lbs with tattoos.

The last known whereabouts of Rogers was on Shockley Road. Authorities don’t consider Rogers dangerous, but say he is elusive and has the survival skills to live in the woods for days.
