Tuscaloosa Police are asking for our help to find the people who robbed the Rama Jama Saturday.

According to the Tuscaloosa News, video surveillance from Saturday night shows a man and woman approach from the west side of the building at 9:39 p.m. She leaves and appears to stays out of sight around 11th Avenue while the man walks around the parking lot and approaches the building a few times. He eventually throws a rock, which doesn’t look like it came from the area, through the window of the outer dining area. Once he climbs in, he struggles to open the double doors to the main area of the restaurant. He uses the same rock again to break those windows and enter the main room that was the original dining area before additions.

Founder and former owner Gary Lewis, who will soon turn over the restaurant to a new owner, said the burglar made it out of the restaurant with a small safe that contained around $200.
