Brad Paisley was so stunned by this performance of "God Bless America" by two police officers in their patrol car, he invited them to steal his spotlight.

The video of Boston officers Stephen McNulty and Kim Tavares harmonizing together started circulating earlier this month and has since gone viral. It's a striking performance from behind the dash of their cruiser, with the two trading verses on the patriotic song.

Paisley was impressed, writing on Twitter: "If you officers wanna sing when I play MA in August, open invite."

While McNulty and Tavares have chosen a career in protecting the public, they could easily find themselves onstage as a singing duo, should they wish to make a change. As Tavares sings a note at the beginning of the video, she asks her partner what note she's singing, and he doesn't struggle to answer correctly.

"I think it's a G," McNulty responds before Tavares launches into "God Bless America." Later, McNulty chimes in with his own jaw-dropping vocals.

No word on whether the officers will take Paisley up on his offer when he returns to Mansfield, Mass., on Aug. 11 for a headlining show at Xfinity Center but if they do, fans will surely get a treat.

Paisley has long shown his admiration for the nation's first responders. In May, the singer organized the "2nd Responders" benefit show at Santa Barbara Bowl in California to recognize first responders who were on the front lines battling the wildfires and mudslides that ranged through southern California in 2017. The proceeds from the event went to local organizations, who then distributed the funds to community members who helped combat the devastating natural disasters in the Montecito and Santa Barbara region.
