Accomplished singer/songwriter Adam Hood will be the highlight to the family friendly 'Roots Fest' presented by Local Roots food truck in April.

Local Roots has teamed up with Bank First and Alcove Tavern to put on the festival in the vacant lot immediately adjacent to Alcove at 720 22nd Avenue.

The timeline is from 4-8pm on Saturday, April 1st and will feature a whole smoked pig, local produce, and live music from Adam Hood. The City of Tuscaloosa has also given clearance for the area to be a part of an Entertainment District, allowing adult beverages to be consumed within a certain area.

More information will be available shortly and you can follow the 'Roots Fest' event page for updates.
